Bridal fashion has had its transitions over the years, but in 2017 we are seeing a trend – elegant and regal. Gowns are flowing with statement fabrics and designs that make an impression. The trumpet look is strong, the sheath is more daring, and the ball gown is a classic. However, the ball gowns have also transitioned into their own show stopping statement pieces. Tuxedos are another way to make a statement at the wedding – with color branching out into rich cobalt navy, shades of gray, the formal off-white dinner jacket – while also keeping the classic black. Wedding flowers are ranging from stunning whites and pale hues to dramatic and bold colors, setting the tone for your special day. Here are some of this year’s most stunning looks for the Distinctively Southern Wedding, all modeled by soon-to-be wed,  Sumner County and Williamson County couples.
