The Sumner County Tourism Center will host the sixth annual Women’s Council of REALTORS® (WCR) Sumner County Home Tour this month. The Home Tour is scheduled for Saturday, September 30th from 12pm until 5pm. The stunningly, beautiful homes showcased will be conveniently located in the gorgeous communities of Fairvue and Foxland Harbor in Gallatin. The event is open to the general public and all participants are asked to stop by the Tourism Center before starting the tour to obtain the information needed to participate.
“We are thrilled about this year’s home tour! Primary Residential Mortgage, Inc. is this year’s primary sponsor and we are so excited to be working with their team. Our amazing homeowners have graciously agreed to open their homes for this very, special event. It’s a phenomenal opportunity for the participants to get design ideas, as well as preview the work of some of our area’s top custom builders. We always try and provide homes that quite frankly, our participants would not normally have the chance to visit, the homes on tour are not model homes. Sumner County is a hidden gem in middle Tennessee and this is WCR’s opportunity to show some of what makes it such a special place to live, work and of course, play! We are so grateful for all those who will be attending this year’s event – not only will they be able to see some of the most incredible homes, but they are also helping raise funds for some fantastic organizations,” says Beth Foutch, local REALTOR® with RE/MAX Choice Properties and President of Women’s Council of REALTORS®.
As Beth mentioned, the funds raised during the one day event will benefit Mary’s Magical Place, a playground where all children, ranging from able bodied to those in wheelchairs, can come to play. Other beneficiaries include Habitat for Humanity and the Sumner County Chapter, Women’s Council of REALTORS®.
A limited number of advance tickets are on sale now for $12.50 per person. The ticket price includes admission to each home, a tour booklet filled with invaluable information about the area, a ballot for voting and light refreshments at the Tourism Center. Attendees can expect to see and experience some of Sumner County’s most luxurious homes nestled along Old Hickory Lake.
If you are interested in purchasing your tickets, you can contact Shaun Lyons, Branch Manager with Primary Residential Mortgage, Inc. and this year’s Chair for the Home Tour at 615.429.3029 or his office number 615.991.5027.
