Reid and Cameron Anderson were married January 9, 2016, at Christ Community Presbyterian. It was an intimate wedding with only close family.
The following weekend was planned to be the reception, welcoming friends and family to celebrate on the grounds at the O’More College of Design. Unfortunately, an ice storm hit and collapsed the tent and they had to postpone the reception to the following week.
The reception began with a beautiful drive up to the main Abbey Leix Mansion at O’More, where guests were greeted by family, friends and a storyboard with pictures of how Reid and Cameron met. Out the back of the house, a tunnel led to the main reception tent. Inside, it was decorated with white, silver and light blue decor. Outdoor seating of sofas, chairs and tables allowed guests to sit comfortably and enjoy the evening with a drink from one of the four bars.
Flavor catered the event with elegant southern food options – everything from filet and shrimp to broiled Brussels sprouts and kale salad. Nashville Tent and Awning created the outdoor structure that accommodated more than 300 guests. Everyone enjoyed dancing and singing along with Eric Heatherly’s Goats of Kudzu. The night concluded with a crowd favorite, the doughnut cake – individual-size boxes of doughnut holes, in the shape of a cake, for everyone to take home.
The newlywed couple was blessed by the company that evening and couldn’t have asked for a better way to start their marriage.
