A parade was held August 29th on Main Street in the heart of Goodlettsville, to welcome the Goodlettsville Little League All-Star heroes home.  The team traveled down Main Street starting from RiverGate Parkway and ending at Goodlettsville City Hall, with plenty of fans, supporters and family cheering from the sides. The team had their fourth-place run at the Little League World Series in South Williamsport, Pa., which ended with a 4-2 loss to Panama in the third-place consolation game.

TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center is pleased to welcome Daniel Ramirez, MD, urologist, to the community. He completed his advance robotic and laparoscopic urologic surgery fellowship from Cleveland Clinic’s Glickman Urological and Kidney Institute in Cleveland, OH and his urologic residency and internship in general surgery from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX. He manages common urological conditions, such as kidney stones, overactive bladder, recurrent UTI and incontinence, and treats diseases of male and female reproductive organs and urinary system, and specializes in robotically-assisted surgery. Originally form Decatur, AL, Meek has a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies degree from Athens State University and will soon have a Masters of Arts in Theological Studies from Liberty University. The Alabama native is no strange to athletics and Christian education. Daniel launched his career in Christian education and coaching at Decatur Heritage Christian Academy in Decatur, Alabama. Coach Meek will be a full-time faculty member at HCA teaching in the Bible department.
