Opening Reception: Echoes of Conversations – A Celebration of Black History @ Monthaven Arts & Cultural Center

Join us at the opening reception of, Echoes of Conversations a tribute to black Americans in art, literature, and poetry featuring the art of celebrated Nashville artist, Michael J. McBride. This event is FREE and open to the public.

MEET THE ARTIST: Guests at the evening’s event will have the opportunity to meet the artist and explore the deep roots and impact of Black Americans past and present and how their contributions have helped to shape conversations in America and the world.

This sensational exhibition includes a compelling collection of Mr. McBride’s art showcasing masterful techniques in application while telling a story that is thoughtful, powerful and celebratory.

Fido Fashion Show @ Music CIty Center

Come out and see adorable adoptable dogs on the runway for the Fido Fashion Show on the Main Fashion Stage! Earthwise Pet Nashville and the Nashville Humane Association present the hilarious and entertaining show. All dogs are adoptable!

Firefighter Fashion Show @ Music City Center

It’s getting hot in here! The Local 140 Firefighters are back and ready to heat up the runway every night at the Southern Women’s Show. Cheer on your favorite hotties as they strut the stage in formalwear from Roxanna’s. You can also show your support by taking home a piece of the action – your very own calendar! All proceeds raise money for the Nashville Fire Fighters Association Foundation, which supports Camp Phoenix, Box 55 Association, Nashville Fire Buffs and Firefighters That Care.

Cigna’s Health Improvement Tour @ Music City Center

Cigna Health invites Nashville residents to stay healthy by visiting its mobile clinic at the Southern Women’s Show for screenings, such as blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, and body mass index (BMI.) These tests are key indicators of health, and health coaches will be onsite to help people understand results and explain how to take next steps.

Meet Savannah Chrisley at Southern Women’s Show Nashville! @ Music City Center

Savannah is the daughter of Georgia real estate mogul Todd Chrisley and stars on USA Network’s reality-TV show, Chrisley Knows Best. Savannah Chrisley is currently filming a spinoff show called Growing Up Chrisley with her brother Chase, which will follow the duo’s move to Los Angeles. She will be at the Nashville Southern Women’s Show to share about her new show, take pictures with fans and sign autographs!

Featuring the art of students from all Sumner County middle schools and high schools families, friends, and guests have the opportunity to view incredible works by some of Sumner County’s most talented students. Works are done in a variety of mediums including oil, acrylic, pencil and digital art and will awe and inspire you.

1st Annual TUSC Golf Tournament @ Twelve Stones Crossing Golf Club

Tennessee United Soccer Club is excited to bring a new event to the local community – The 1st Annual TUSC Golf Tournament. This event is a fundraiser for our TUSC Scholarship Foundation which annually gives out multiple scholarships to players in need. This past year, TUSC gave out over $25,000 in scholarships to TUSC players.

Generations Shuptrine Exhibition @ Monthaven Arts and Cultural Center

In art, few will ever know the extent to which their art touches the world and the impact their talent will have. Yet, one family has experienced this not just one time but three! GENERATIONS SHUPTRINE features the works of renown artist Hubert Shuptrine, acclaimed water color artist Alan Shuptrine and introduces sculpture artist Ben Shuptrine. Showcasing three generations of creative work, GENERATIONS SHUPTRINE celebrates each artist’s deep connection with his environment telling a story of his passion from within.
