“Farm To Table & Table To Soul!” This is our motto during this time of year as we celebrate Summer’s harvest together.

Hendersonville Produce has thrived due to the uniqueness of local produce, specialized artisans, and our wonderful community.

We encourage you to support local farmers whether it be “grow” yourself, farmer’s markets, or even side-of-the-road produce stands.

We want to feed you well all year & there’s something to celebrate each season.

It’s a pleasure organizing our “Farm To Table” dining experience with you! Come along & let’s “grow” together!

2017 Candlelight Cemetery Tour @ Gallatin City Cemetery
Oct 7 @ 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Tours begin at 4:00 p.m. with the last tour scheduled to step off at 8:00 p.m., however we will go past 8:00 if necessary. Tickets are $10 for adults and children ages 10 and up. Children under 10 are free. Tickets are available online through our Facebook page.  They are also available at the Sumner County Museum, the Gallatin Chamber of Commerce, and Perkins Drugs starting September 8th.

A rain out date is set for Saturday, October 14th. Times for the rain date to be determined.

The purpose of the Sumner County Museum is to preserve for the future the history of the past and present. There are loads and loads of items on display for those of you who are interested in museums and/or history or both. The displays include pioneer days, tinsmith shop, blacksmith shop, textile – from cotton to loom, music, photography, clothing, etc. It is worth a trip to see what’s here. Be sure to have a time period put aside when you want to come and make sure it’s long enough to see everything that you can.

Music City Bronze Handbell Concert @ Palace Theater

Enjoy an evening of enchantment with the holiday sounds of Nashville’s premier community hand-bell ensemble, Music City Bronze. Performers bring all size bells for a beautiful evening of music.

Music City Bronze is fully affiliated with the Handbell Musicians of America and are a non-profit organization. A repertoire is available across a variety of musical styles and genres.

Their mission is “to reach for higher levels of musicianship in handbells/chimes, and to promote, educate and share the passion of handbell/chime music with the community.

Join us at the opening reception of, Echoes of Conversations a tribute to black Americans in art, literature, and poetry featuring the art of celebrated Nashville artist, Michael J. McBride. This event is FREE and open to the public.

MEET THE ARTIST: Guests at the evening’s event will have the opportunity to meet the artist and explore the deep roots and impact of Black Americans past and present and how their contributions have helped to shape conversations in America and the world.

This sensational exhibition includes a compelling collection of Mr. McBride’s art showcasing masterful techniques in application while telling a story that is thoughtful, powerful and celebratory.

Featuring the art of students from all Sumner County middle schools and high schools families, friends, and guests have the opportunity to view incredible works by some of Sumner County’s most talented students. Works are done in a variety of mediums including oil, acrylic, pencil and digital art and will awe and inspire you.

Generations Shuptrine Exhibition @ Monthaven Arts and Cultural Center

In art, few will ever know the extent to which their art touches the world and the impact their talent will have. Yet, one family has experienced this not just one time but three! GENERATIONS SHUPTRINE features the works of renown artist Hubert Shuptrine, acclaimed water color artist Alan Shuptrine and introduces sculpture artist Ben Shuptrine. Showcasing three generations of creative work, GENERATIONS SHUPTRINE celebrates each artist’s deep connection with his environment telling a story of his passion from within.
