Sumner Spay Neuter Alliance is pleased to host the 7th annual Pedal for Paws cycling event on Saturday, April 15, 2017. The annual ride is presented by My Fraud Shield and features 4 courses for cyclists of all skill levels (14, 30, 45 and 62 miles). The ride begins and ends at the Gallatin Civic Center in Gallatin, TN. The 62, 45 and 30 mile routes depart at 8:00 a.m. The 14 mile route departs shortly afterwards.

100% of the event proceeds go directly to supporting animals in our community through Sumner Spay Neuter Alliance’s life-saving low-cost, high quality spay neuter surgeries. SSNA is a non-profit organization which opened in 2011 and has performed over 40,000 surgeries. Saving lives through prevention.
Hunt for eggs, make crafts, and enjoy a morning on the beautiful grounds of Rock Castle. A family event for all ages with great activities for the kids!
Parents! Come out and relive one of your favorite childhood memories and get a chance to find some prizes in the Adult Egg Hunt. Only one requirement: You must wear bunny ears. Decorate a pair at the pavilion or bring your own.
“Burger Battle 2017” is the spring fundraiser and open house for Sumner Teen Center (STC). This event will take place on Saturday, April 22th from 11am-2pm at STC. Contestants strive to grill the best burger using any meat, veggies or sauces they wish–a panel of judges will pick their favorite but the ultimate winner is the contestant who raises the most money for STC programs with every $1 vote they raise. There will also be vendors, auctions, entertainment and a meal for all spectators served by STC. Visitors will also be able to tour the center and learn about the work STC is doing in the community. There will also be plenty of fun activities for kids and families.
This is a great event featuring FASHION, LOCAL ARTISANS, MUSIC, and a HUGE CRAWFISH BOIL! Live music will fill the air all day long as you eat and shop your heart out!
The streets will be lined with amazing mobile boutiques and artisans!

Cheekwood is going to the dogs! Bring your pooch out for a special dog-friendly day in the gardens. All leashed dogs are welcome.
Have your photo taken with your dog at the photo booth from 11am – 3pm, located at the Carell Dogwood Garden.
Cheekwood will also be accepting supply donations for the Nashville Humane Association‘s wish list. Don’t forget to bring your items for donation!

April 24th will be the 28th Annual Chamber Golf Classic played at Bluegrass Golf and Country Club. Come out and enjoy a day on the course with a few of your best buddies for a round of golf. Golf sponsorships and teams available.
The 28th Annual Golf Classic will be a great day of golf and networking, followed by an awards ceremony in the main ballroom of the clubhouse. Registration will begin at 10:00am in front of the Clubhouse. Lunch will be served between 10:30am and 11:45am, with our shotgun start beginning promptly at noon.
Gallatin’s Annual Squarefest & Classic Car Show is held the last Saturday in April of each year. The event includes arts and crafts, live entertainment, a kids area and food vendors from throughout mid-south. Held on the historic downtown square, this event has become of signature event in the spring for Gallatin.
Crowd size has been estimated at over 12,000.
