As part of its mission to bring music to everyone in Middle Tennessee, the Nashville Symphony presents a series of free Community Concerts at select venues through out Middle Tennessee.

Join us with family and friends and enjoy the lazy days and warm summer nights of June. Bring your favorite lawn chair, pack a picnic dinner and immerse yourself in an evening of popular classics and maybe a few modern ones too.

Make sure to day a tour of the home before you leave. Historic Rose Mont is a unique plantation house in historic Sumner County, Tennessee, built in the 1830s by Josephus Conn Guild. The home features a successful blending of Greek Revival and Palladian design, and is a rare tripartite plan.

Hendersonville Freedom Festival @ Drakes Creek Park

The event includes an auction, great live music, food vendors, face painting, Kids Zone*, friendly competition games, and, of course, fireworks!

Music on Main Featuring “Dance Band” Red Light 11 @ Goodlettsville City Hall’s Park

Music on Main, Goodlettsville’s free summer concert series presented by Acopia Home Loans, will return on Thursday, July 6th for a night of live music and fun. Put on your dancing shoes because this event features the “Dance Band” Red Light 11. They are widely known for a little old school, a little new school, and all the classes in between.

Bring your lawn chairs or blankets to the lawn next to Goodlettsville City Hall for this free live concert from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. Food vendors will be on site, or you may wish to bring a picnic meal from one of Goodlettsville’s local restaurants. A Kid’s Zone, provided by Goodlettsville’s Park and Recreation Department, will also be available at this event so it will be fun for the whole family!

The 2017 Music on Main Concert Series takes place at Goodlettsville City Hall’s Park, located at 105 S. Main Street. For more information, contact the Goodlettsville Area Chamber of Commerce by calling 615-859-7979.

Heroes & Villains @ Music City Center

The Heroes & Villains Fan Fest is coming to Music City Center July 8 and 9 to celebrate the best heroes and villains in modern comic books, televisions and movies. Engage in meet and greets, photos with your favorite celebrity guests, costume contests, panels and more. And hey, don’t be afraid to dress in costume yourself! White House Americana Celebration @ White House Soccer Complex

The carnival will open at 1:00 pm on Saturday and live Music begins at 5 pm. Free inflatables for the kids and Food Truck Row offering a wide variety of selections, so far – Bob’s Fish Fry, Don Miguel Juicery + Rustic Kitchen, Delaney’s Street Eats, Clays Kitchen The Dawg House, Mojo Cookie Dough Food Truck.

At 6:00 pm Sixwire will take the stage with a fantastic performance followed by the 80’s band Rubiks Groove that will have everyone on their feet singing and dancing. At 9:00 pm the sky will light up with the Brandon Webster EXIT REALTY Garden Gate Team Fireworks show and before the smoke clears Rubiks Groove will be back on stage performing until 10:00 pm.
