2017 Family Health & Fitness Fair @ The Streets of Indian Lake

Join the Hendersonville Farmers Market for a Family Health & Fitness Fair with Live Music ft. Brandy Neelly, Local children’s choirs, Magic Show, Local Safety Heroes, Demonstrations, Exhibits, Vendor booths with health & safety education, and more.

A monthly celebration will continue during Health & Fitness Day at the Hendersonville Farmers Market on the last Saturday of every month – June 24, July 29, August 26, and September 30.

Taste of Gallatin @ Gallatin Civic Center

Gallatin’s highly anticipated 10th annual “Taste of Gallatin” is set for Thursday, June 1, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m at the Gallatin Civic Center.
This is a social event that showcases restaurants, caterers, groceries, event facilities, and businesses in the Gallatin area, gives attendees the chance to “sample” the many flavors of local Gallatin businesses. The Taste of Gallatin is the city’s culinary extravaganza!

Emergence @ Nashville Ballet

An experimental lab in the black-box theater setting of Nashville Ballet’s intimate studio, get a first look at three new works that are only weeks in the making. Hendersonville Main Street Porchfest @ Hazel Path Mansion

The Hendersonville Main Street Porch Fest will be held at Hazel Path Mansion & Business Park on Saturday, June 3, from 10am-8pm.

The activities of the day include food trucks, shopping, car show, kids zone, local vendors, and live music. So bring your lawn chairs and blankets and come sit a spell at the Hendersonville Main Street Porch Festival!

Walker Stalker Con @ Music City Center

Walker Stalker Con is by fans, for fans. Our focus is on authentic interactions with actors, free family friendly activities,
and a relaxed environment where the actors we love can be themselves.

For all you Walking Dead fans out there, be sure to circle June 3 and June 4 on your calendar for the two-day Walker Stalker Con convention at Music City Center in downtown Nashville. Get ready to see your favorite characters like Negan, Daryl, Glenn, Carol, Carl, Ezekiel and many more. There will be panels with stars from the show, meet and greets with autograph and picture opportunities and so much more. Depending on your love for the show, you can choose from a variety of ticket packages, with one or two-day passes, VIP two-day pass, gold VIP or platinum VIP which include great perks like priority seating at events, autographed photos and early admission to both event days. 

 

National Trails Day Hike @ Bledsoe Creek State Park

Join the staff of Bledsoe Creek State Park on Saturday June 3rd for our annual National Trails Day Hike. We will meet at the Park Visitor Center at 2:00 p.m. The hike will include the High Ridge Trail and Shoreline Trail for a total of 3.5 miles. The trails are rated of Moderate difficulty. Please bring appropriate footwear and water.

Jr. Master Gardener Camp @ Historic Mansker's Station

The Jr. Master Gardener week-long program engages children in “hands-on” group and individual learning experiences that provide a love of gardening, develop and appreciation for the environment, and cultivate the mind. JMG is an international youth gardening program of the University Cooperative Extension Network.

The 2017 Camp will focus on Plant Growth and Development and will take place on the grounds of Historic Mansker’s Station. This camp is for rising 3rd-5th graders and the cost is $75 per student (a $10 discount is given to enrolled siblings). There are a limited number of spaces available!
