Christmas Tree Lighting @ Memorial Park

Enjoy a traditional “small town” community tree lighting with family and friends!

The Annual Hendersonville Tree Lighting Event begins with food vendors, bouncey houses and live entertainment.

3pm: Bouncy House and vendors open; characters arrive with Santa
5pm: Sugar Creek carriage rides begin
6pm: Mayor comes and does the much anticipated count down to the lighting of the Christmas tree followed by live entertainment by local choirs and musicians!

This event is FREE to the Public and is sponsored by all HolidayFest sponsors with cooperation from the Hendersonville Parks Department.

Nashville’s Nutcracker: Celebrating 10 Years! @ Tennessee Performing Arts Center

Celebrating 10 years of awe-inspiring magic and dazzling holiday cheer, “Nashville’s Nutcracker” will ring in the season with all-new magical elements, including letting it snow in the audience! A truly local production through and through with clever nods to the city’s sparkly past, “Nashville’s Nutcracker” epitomizes the holiday season in Music City.

Running of the Elves

On December 2, join us for the inaugural Running of the Elves Christmas Fun Run presented by Tate Granite | Tate Ornamental and the White House Area Chamber of Commerce.

The One Mile Fun Run will be the kick off to the annual Christmas Parade with prizes for best overall male and female time, best costume and best team. If running isn’t your favorite thing then no worries, you can walk the course! This is a great way to get out with your family or friends and get active right before the holiday. The race will begin at City Hall and make its way through the town to form a square ending at City Hall just in time to catch the parade.

Registrations is open from now until November 19th for individuals, teams and families. All registrants will receive an official long sleeve race t-shirt and other goodies so grab your Elves, get your costumes designed and plan to have a fantastic time!

Music City’s most festive 5K invites elves, grinches, and sugar plum fairies to light the way for Santa’s arrival at the Nashville Christmas Parade.

This family-friendly event is perfect for runners, walkers, and joggers of all ages and abilities.

Whether this is your first 5K or your 50th, you’ll walk away with a the spirit of the season in your heart, knowing that you’re helping families and seniors stay warm this winter. 100% of proceeds benefit NeedLink Nashville.

Breakfast With Santa @ Bluegrass Yacht and Country Club

Children and Families love this traditional breakfast which includes a keepsake photo of Santa as well as many of his friends, Mrs. Santa, Elves, Princes, the Grinch and many others come to entertain! This event benefits Bows & Ballcaps and the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.

The Nashville Suzuki Players, directed by Thornton Cline will perform.

Nashville Bride Guide + Oh Crumbs! Bakery are teaming up to bring you a Christmas cookie decorating workshop! Learn the basics on how to decorate and detail sugar cookies all while planning your Nashville wedding. Vendors will be participating and on hand to talk to you all about what they can offer for your wedding. Swag bags along with cookie decorating kits will be provided and include: cookie cutters, pastry bags + tips, merengue powder, sugar, 6 cookies to decorate, 3-4 colors of frosting + more! Meet us at Boundry in the Green Bar for some light bites, wine and cookie decorating fun!

Tickets must be purchased for this event – brides have first priority for buying tickets. Brides are allowed to bring one guest who must also purchase a ticket through this link.

Annual Christmas Parade – Hendersonville @ Drakes Creek Park

Bring your chairs and hot cocoa and get ready for one of Hendersonville’s most anticipated events of the year!

Smile and wave as your whole family enjoys a parade of marching bands, horse drawn floats, and of course your favorite Christmas characters brought together with love by local families, businesses and community organizations. This event is one you don’t want to miss!

This event is organized by HolidayFest with cooperation from KimbroAir and the Hendersonville ParksDepartment.
