Metropolitan Nashville Police Department – Madison Precinct will be on site with coloring books, kid ID kits and TDOT’s Yellow Dot envelopes. The Madison Precinct would love to speak with parents on the importance of keeping children safe and taking precautions to prevent children from going missing.
The Hendersonville Area Chamber of Commerce presents the Freedom Festival each year to support the Chamber Foundation.
The event includes an auction, great live music, food vendors, face painting, Kids Zone*, friendly competition games, and, of course, fireworks!
*There is an admission fee for the Kids Zone area of the event.
Music on Main, Goodlettsville’s free summer concert series presented by Acopia Home Loans, will return on Thursday, July 6th for a night of live music and fun. Put on your dancing shoes because this event features the “Dance Band” Red Light 11. They are widely known for a little old school, a little new school, and all the classes in between.
Bring your lawn chairs or blankets to the lawn next to Goodlettsville City Hall for this free live concert from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. Food vendors will be on site, or you may wish to bring a picnic meal from one of Goodlettsville’s local restaurants. A Kid’s Zone, provided by Goodlettsville’s Park and Recreation Department, will also be available at this event so it will be fun for the whole family!

The Heroes & Villains Fan Fest is coming to Music City Center July 8 and 9 to celebrate the best heroes and villains in modern comic books, televisions and movies. Engage in meet and greets, photos with your favorite celebrity guests, costume contests, panels and more. And hey, don’t be afraid to dress in costume yourself! The carnival will open at 1:00 pm on Saturday and live Music begins at 5 pm. Free inflatables for the kids and Food Truck Row offering a wide variety of selections, so far – Bob’s Fish Fry, Don Miguel Juicery + Rustic Kitchen, Delaney’s Street Eats, Clays Kitchen The Dawg House, Mojo Cookie Dough Food Truck.
At 6:00 pm Sixwire will take the stage with a fantastic performance followed by the 80’s band Rubiks Groove that will have everyone on their feet singing and dancing. At 9:00 pm the sky will light up with the Brandon Webster EXIT REALTY Garden Gate Team Fireworks show and before the smoke clears Rubiks Groove will be back on stage performing until 10:00 pm.
