Dogs & Dogwoods @ Cheekwood Gardens

17504648_10155266385764739_6829182054921887671_oCheekwood is going to the dogs! Bring your pooch out for a special dog-friendly day in the gardens. All leashed dogs are welcome.

Have your photo taken with your dog at the photo booth from 11am – 3pm, located at the Carell Dogwood Garden.

Cheekwood will also be accepting supply donations for the Nashville Humane Association‘s wish list. Don’t forget to bring your items for donation!

28th Annual Hendersonville Area Chamber Golf Classic @ Bluegrass Yacht & Country Club

April 24th will be the 28th Annual Chamber Golf Classic played at Bluegrass Golf and Country Club. Come out and enjoy a day on the course with a few of your best buddies for a round of golf. Golf sponsorships and teams available.

The 28th Annual Golf Classic will be a great day of golf and networking, followed by an awards ceremony in the main ballroom of the clubhouse. Registration will begin at 10:00am in front of the Clubhouse. Lunch will be served between 10:30am and 11:45am, with our shotgun start beginning promptly at noon.

Gallatin Square Fest @ Historic Downtown Gallatin

Gallatin’s Annual Squarefest & Classic Car Show is held the last Saturday in April of each year. The event includes arts and crafts, live entertainment, a kids area and food vendors from throughout mid-south. Held on the historic downtown square, this event has become of signature event in the spring for Gallatin.

Crowd size has been estimated at over 12,000.

This moving patriotic event will honor our military veterans, while feeding your family a hearty fish fry dinner with tasty hush puppies, slaw, and baked beans.

“Service Above Self” is the Rotary motto. Our signature “Freedom Fry” enables the Hendersonville Rotary Club to bring generous business executives and corporations together into a focused and coordinated event that will directly fund worthy local civic and charity organizations.

A world premiere production from Nashville Ballet company dancer and celebrated guest choreographer Christopher Stuart, “Seven Deadly Sins” follows one man’s journey as he is tempted by corrupt forces on his path to redemption. “Seven Deadly Sins” features all-new music written and played live by singer-songwriter collective Ten Out of Tenn with the Nashville Symphony. In “Appalachian Spring,” Nashville Ballet Artistic Director & CEO Paul Vasterling presents an abstract interpretation of Aaron Copland’s iconic score that explores the strength, tenacity and creative spirit of women.
