Tennessee United Soccer Club is excited to ring in the 2018/2019 year at the 2nd Annual Meet the United on August 11th! The festivities at Moss Wright Park Soccer Fields in Goodlettsville, Tennessee begin at 3:30 pm. This year’s event will feature inflatable games, food trucks, dunk tank, and more. The main attraction kicks off at 5:30 pm with a friendly soccer match between Cumberland University Men’s Soccer Team and the TUSC 2001 Boys Red Team. This holiday spectacular is great for all ages and attracts thousands of spectators seeking to enjoy the beautiful boat showcase.
This event is organized by HolidayFest with cooperation from the Hendersonville Parks Department.

During An Appalachian Christmas Dinner guests will feast on an authentic Appalachian dinner complete with moonshine, wine, and stack cake. Storytelling will be provided by Virginia Appalachian Mountain Native, Linda Goodman with music by Holly Wood & The Appalachian Extras – Susie Monick, Joe Collins, Daniel Seymour, and Jeff Gilkinson.

It’s almost time for the Chili and Soup Luncheon at VFW Post 9851. The Luncheon is hosted by the Auxiliary at the Post. Mayor Jamie Clary, Fire Chief Scotty Bush, and Assessor John Isbell have agreed to be the judges for the chili contest. So come on out and root for your favorite chili cook. Alderman Pat Campbell will be entering his award winning chili. The Post’s Senior Vice Commander will be entering his award winning chili. The competition is on!!! Cash awards for the winners!!!!

This sensational exhibition includes a compelling collection of Mr. McBride’s art showcasing masterful techniques in application while telling a story that is thoughtful, powerful and celebratory.
